Capture employee hours, overtime and breaks, approve timesheets, and send approved figures directly into payroll — without maintaining separate spreadsheets.
Track hours from clock-in to payroll — without spreadsheets.
Hours don't sit in a spreadsheet waiting to be re-keyed. Once a timesheet is approved, those approved hours become the authoritative hours your payroll run uses.
Capture
Enter each day's hours — clock in/out with breaks, or hours worked.
Review
Check the ordinary and overtime totals against the estimated earnings.
Approve
Approve the timesheet. Approved hours are locked and become authoritative.
Payroll
The payroll run uses the approved hours when it's processed.
Record a full day with a clock-in and clock-out, or simply enter the hours worked. Both methods sit side by side in the same daily grid.
Clock-in and clock-out times, with an unpaid break
Or enter the hours worked directly — no clock times needed
Ordinary hours and overtime hours captured in separate columns

Hours are captured, submitted for review, then approved. Once approved, the timesheet is locked and becomes the source of the hours payroll uses. Need a change? Reopen it, edit, and re-approve.

Overtime hours are recorded in their own column, kept apart from ordinary hours. When payroll is processed, approved overtime hours flow through using your company's configured overtime multiplier — set once in Payroll Settings.
TSS Payroll does not decide for you whether overtime is legally payable — you capture the overtime hours and set the rate that applies to your business.
The timesheet checks each day as you go, and again on the server before anything is saved — so a bad entry can't quietly end up in a payslip.
Clock-out earlier than clock-in

Days outside the pay period
Approved hours are linked to the payroll run and used when payroll is processed. Timesheets aren't an isolated spreadsheet replacement — they connect directly to the payroll process.
Every timesheet belongs to a payroll run, so the hours you capture always line up with the period you're paying for.
